Columbia River Fishing

The world-famous Columbia River draws hundreds of thousands of fishing days of effort in pursuit of many different species. Although Columbia River salmon fishing and Columbia River sturgeon fishing draw most of the attention, plentiful populations is steelhead, walleye and other warm water species draw plenty of attention too.

Wild Columbia River salmon once numbered over 15 million strong. Although wild stocks have declined, mitigation hatcheries still produce tens of millions of juvenile salmon each year to quench the thirst of sport and commercial fishermen.

Columbia River sturgeon is a very popular second choice for Oregon and Washington anglers. The wild white sturgeon is plentiful and provides excellent opportunities for high action with some fish reaching lengths to 10 feet!

With year-round opportunities for Columbia River salmon, sturgeon, steelhead, walleye and other species we have, the Columbia River fishing guide to match your quarry and personality.
